Richard Batch

Professional Experience
Rich practices tax planning for owner-managers, entrepreneurs and their corporations, dealing with a wide variety of issues ranging from owner-manager remuneration, general corporate tax minimization and international tax. Rich also has experience in estate planning and tax planning using Trusts.
Rich received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics for Wilfrid Laurier University in 1992 and earned the Chartered Accountant designation in 1994. He was a Tax Consultant with an international accounting firm before joining Mintz & Partners in 1998.
Rich is a tutorial leader, lecturing in tax for the School of Accountancy, run by the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accounts (ICAO). Rich volunteers with Junior Achievement, and is also a Big Brother with Big Brothers of Metropolitan Toronto. He is also actively involved in the fundraising for these organizations.
