Born in Canada and raised in Australia, I received my Bachelor of Music degree in Sydney, and have called many cities my home. I have over 16 years of professional music experience teaching and performing across Australia, the USA and Canada. I've taught at college, in churches, in private and public schools, in independent music studios & stores both large and small, and in the homes of wealthy families, struggling families, and families "in the middle". With such a vast array of experience under my belt, I've become adept at connecting with students of widely varying ages, backgrounds and interests. I truly care about my students and their families.
I currently enjoy life as a musician in St. Albert, "The Botanical Arts City", providing premium guitar lessons and music education for school-aged students (grades 1-12). For me, teaching, composing and performing are all integral parts to being happy as a musician. And really, who doesn't love being happy?
