Release the tension of the side-mounted springs
To release the tension of the side-mounted springs, you need to lift the door.

With the pliers, detach the cable from the bottom bracket.
Note: For torsion side-mounted springs, do not attempt to do this without a professional technician’s supervision.

Do not do this alone.
With the help of three people, place a block under the door and then lower the door.
One by one, remove the sections and disconnect the remaining rollers and brackets.
Step #3
Installation of the First Section
The first section of your garage door pertains to the brackets.
First, the door must be leveled.
Use the rubber gasket to fill the gaps to level the floor completely.
Use the brackets and rollers, settle them in place, and then section it.
Lightly toenail as you proceed.
Step #4
Install the Stiffening Strut
To Install the stiffening strut, lay the steel door flat.
Install the opener bracket.
Put the carpet scraps on top of the sawhorses and then slide the rollers onto the roller brackets.
Step #5
Roller Tracks
To install the vertical roller tracks, first, wrap the curved tip of the rollers.
According to further instructions, check the approximate door track measured section.
Level and mount these tracks and then make the upper horizontal tracks.
Step #6
Aligning the Upper Tracks
Carefully lift the upper roller tracks halfway through the door.
Then, lock it in place using the locking pliers.
With that, install the supporting brackets and stop bolts.
Step #7
Set the Springs and Bar
Set the torsion and extension springs and bars in place.
Attach the cables and wires as per the manual’s instructions.
Step #8
Tensioning
With the drill, add tension to the torsion spring.
Attach locking pliers on both ends to the spring to keep the bar from turning as you add tension to the torsion spring.
After that, test your garage door to see if it opens and closes smoothly.
Suppose it does not work properly despite following this article’s instructions and the garage door installation kit. In that case, it is time to call a professional technician to do garage door repair.
Maintenance
There are some things you need to do when you install your new garage door.

Keep the door, along with the wires and cables, clean.
Even the smallest debris on the springs can cause the door to malfunction.
