Boutique photography school in downtown Toronto; offering
introductory and intermediate photography classes.

What do a Senior Microsoft Consultant, Early Childhood Educator, Urban
Planner, Paramedic or Lawyer have in common? All have completed the Photo
101 – Introduction to Photography at GTA Photography Classes!

Founded in late 2007 by award winning photographer Ana Belic, GTA
Photography Classes began as a side business. However, over a short period
of time, interest and awareness grew so large she decided to open a school /
studio in downtown Toronto at King and Church. To date, over 1000 students
ranging from youth to retired professionals have enrolled in the classes.

Instead of the traditional classroom setting, these classes are set in a relaxed,
living-room style studio – students sit in couches and talk about their photos,
which they are able to showcase to the instructor and group on a plasma-
screen television. The studio also offers multiple sessions from a four-week
program, weekend boot camp sessions and one-on-one custom tutoring, to
provide students the option that best suits their ideal learning environment and
schedule.

Twice annually GTA Photography Classes holds a Competition/Exhibit for all
the past students. Students have their work framed and showcased in the
studio, while friends and family are invited to come have a glass of wine and
vote for their favourite photo.

GTA Photography works to teach their students key principles in photography,
while ensuring a fun and interactive environment.
