The Government of Canada has launched a new buy and sell web site for Canadian businesses. A number of web sites have been consolidated to create buyandsell.gc.ca, where Canadian business can sell their goods and services to the Canadian government. Government departments can use the site to look for sellers as well.
The web site will:
- make it easier to find information and help visitors with the procurement process;
- help business find information on opportunities to sell their goods and services;
- meet needs of departments needing goods and services, by providing them with information on how to procure products and services, and provide latest procurement policy updates.
The web site also provides information on $40-million Canadian Innovation Commercialization Program (CICP), designed to help Canadian businesses test their products and services with Government of Canada before they bring them to the market.
The buy and sell web site is developed by Public Works and Government Services Canada's Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME).
