Canadian Business Financing: An Ongoing Workshop for Businesses in Canada
By CO Staff @canadaone | November 30, -0001
Introduction
Having access to capital will be vital to the success of your business, as the ability to keep cash moving, your company growing, and expenses paid often means the difference between being in or out of business. And for many small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canada, accessing capital can be a difficult – if not insurmountable - challenge.
The fact is that SMEs are risky, and hard to evaluate. This can make it difficult – if not impossible – for SMEs to access the capital their companies need through traditional financial sources such as a loan or line of credit. Fortunately there are other options. This ongoing workshop will outline those options as we look at both traditional and non-traditional sources of financing that are available to Canadian companies.
We'll start things off with an article by Kim Mortson of Visionaire Consulting that looks at the steps you can take before you investigate your financing options. As well, Kim has provided us with Financial Jargon glossary and list of helpful websites.
